Welcome to Paintsville's Premiere School of Dance, where we teach Pure Art from the Very Start. Since its beginning in 2004, Pointe of JOY has provided an encouraging atmosphere where students are called to integrity and challenged to personal and spiritual growth. Whether our students' goals are to pursue a professional career in performance art or to broaden their horizons, by exploring the world of dance. In our truly non-competitive studio, our students are supported by their JOYHouse Family and instructor(s) every step of the way. We offer a complete program for dancers of all levels (age two to adult). ​
Instruction and Study
We also serve those who simply long to enhance their education by engaging the beauty of classical and modern forms of dance. Instruction and study at Pointe of Joy will help students learn skills and gain knowledge needed to succeed in life; both on and off the stage. We take pride in offering outstanding technical training, cultivating a strong sense of community, and providing challenging classes that develop both an artist’s skills and character.
